_x000D_The first trailer for James Cameron’s sequel to 2009’s Avatar was finally released on May 9, 2022. Avatar: The Way of Water will bring back stars Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, and Sigourney Weaver to the story of the Na’vi, a race of blueish extraterrestrials under attack from humans. New cast members include Winslet, Michelle Yeoh (Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon), Jemaine Clement (Flight of the Concords), and Edie Falco (The Sopranos). Three sequels are planned for release after the “Way of Water” premieres in Dec. 2022. Watch the teaser trailer.
