On X-Men, which character does Patrick Stewart play?

Patrick Stewart is Professor X, AKA Charles Xavier, on Marvel’s X-Men movie series. Stewart is returning to the role he presumably left when the character died in 2017’s “Logan.” Marvel Studios released its first official trailer for “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness” during the Super Bowl on Feb. 13, 2022. In the video, Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) is put on trial, with Stewart as Charles Xavier leading the court. Watch the trailer.
