Who’s the director behind Netflix’s new Addams Family series, “Wednesday”?

Netflix released the first trailer for Wednesday, Tim Burton’s (Beetlejuice) reimagining of the Addams Family series, on August 17, 2022. Burton was previously signed to develop a stop-motion Addams Family film – which was later canceled. The series, starring Jenna Ortega in the title role, alongside Catherine Zeta-Jones, Luis Guzman, Gwendoline Christie, and Christina Ricci (who played Wednesday on the 1991 Barry Sonnenfeld live-action film,) premieres on Netflix this fall.
