What happens under the new Connecticut cannabis law to people already convicted of possession?

Under the new Connecticut cannabis law, those convicted of possession from Jan. 1, 2000, through Sept. 30, 2015, will have their records automatically cleared beginning in 2023. People with convictions from outside this period can apply to have their records expunged starting July 2022.
