Pinkett came to the 2022 Oscars alongside her husband, Will Smith, the Best Leading Actor award winner for “King Richard.” When Chris Rock took verbal aim at Pinkett Smith’s shaved head from the stage, referencing the 1997 film G.I. Jane in which Demi Moore shaved her head, Will Smith took a swing at him. Smith later apologized.
