What’s prosopagnosia?

Prosopagnosia (from Greek prósōpon, meaning “face,” and agnōsía, meaning “non-knowledge”) is face blindness. In this condition, familiar faces, including one’s own, become difficult to recognize, while other mental and visual processing aspects are unaffected.

Does Brad Pitt Suffer from Face Blindness?

According to Brad Pitt, in an interview for the Aug. 2022 issue of GQ, he suffers from prosopagnosia, despite never having been officially diagnosed. In 2013, he told Esquire that his condition often made him want to isolate himself. “That’s why I stay home,” he said.
