Who took Andy Warhol’s last portrait?

When first arriving in New York City in the ’80s, David LaChapelle became Andy Warhol’s assistant, leading to him taking his mentor’s final portrait in 1987. The photo is one of 150 works spanning the entirety of LaChapelle’s career put on display in David LaChapelle: Make Believe – the first-ever solo show on New York City’s six-story branch of Stockholm’s Fotografiska museum.
